VANCOUVER, March 23, 2007 - The Futura Corporation ("Futura")1 announces that it now owns 711,600 trust units in Coast Wholesale Appliances Income Fund (TSX:CWA.UN) (Coast), representing approximately 10.91% of the total outstanding trust units of Coast, and approximately 7.09% of the voting rights attached to all issued and outstanding securities of Coast.

The purchase of the trust units in Coast was made through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange for investment purposes. Futura may from time to time acquire additional trust units of Coast, dispose of some or all of the existing or additional trust units of Coast, or continue to hold the trust units of Coast in the normal course of Futura's investment activities, subject to applicable securities laws.
