Amar S. Doman
President & Chief Executive Officer

Amar is the founder and sole shareholder of The Futura Corporation. Along with his team he has led and completed over 12 acquisitions and has brought the company to it's current level of over $1,500,000,000 in revenues and close to 2000 employees, directly or indirectly, through investments and outright ownership. Amar's tireless dedication to creating shareholder value and his vision for long term thinking when investing or buying companies outright has built The Futura Corporation into one of the largest and fastest growing companies in Canada.

As Chairman of the Board of Directors of CanWel Building Materials Income Fund (CWX.UN), and CEO of The Futura Corporation, Amar brings over 20 years of experience in building materials, specialty lumber and re-manufacturing industries, and public and private investments. He is also the youngest ever Board member to hold a seat on both the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute of Treated Wood and the Building Supply Dealers Association of B.C. In 2005 Ernst & Young nominated Amar for the Entrepreneur of the Year, where he won in the business to business category (West).

Harry Rosenfeld
Executive Vice President

Mr. Rosenfeld joined The Futura Corporation in 2004. From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Rosenfeld was employed by Congress Financial Corporation of Canada, where as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager he directed the Credit and Administration functions for one of the largest asset based lenders in Canada. A former Vice President with Bank of New York Financial Corporation, Mr. Rosenfeld has over 20 years of financing, mergers and acquisition and banking experience. Mr. Rosenfeld is a former Treasurer and Director of the CFA (Commercial Finance Association) and has been a guest speaker at various financing and industry seminars. Mr. Rosenfeld holds a B.A. from the University of Waterloo.

Bob Dawson

Controller

Bob Dawson joined The Futura Corporation in 1998, and worked directly with Amar Doman. Bob is now Chief Controller of The Futura Corporation. Bob graduated from BCIT with a diploma in Technology, Financial Management and Accounting. He brings over 30 years experience in accounting and finance to Futura.
